2. Consumer guarantees (New Zealand)
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any stated purpose. If a product fails a guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Nothing in this Policy limits those rights.
3. Change-of-mind returns for sealed supplements
Because ingestible products involve hygiene and safety considerations, change-of-mind returns are accepted only when items remain sealed, unused, in original packaging, and within fourteen calendar days of delivery to your address. You must obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number before shipping anything back. Opened bottles are not eligible for change-of-mind refunds unless a consumer guarantee applies.
4. Defective, damaged, or incorrect shipments
If your order arrives damaged, with a manufacturing defect, or differs from what you purchased, contact us within forty-eight hours of delivery with photographs and your order reference. We will arrange a prepaid return label where appropriate, or instruct safe disposal if returning the physical item is impractical. We will replace the item or refund the purchase price including reasonable standard shipping paid at checkout.
5. Process to initiate a return
- Email admin@vordalonkhythran.world with your name, order number, reason for return, and photos if reporting damage.
- Wait for written RA instructions, including the return address and any customs declarations required.
- Pack items securely with outer padding; include a copy of the RA email inside the parcel.
- Use a tracked service; retain proof of postage until the return is completed.
6. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method unless technically impossible, in which case we will propose a reasonable alternative such as bank transfer. Refunds are processed within five business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods, though your financial institution may need additional days to post the credit.
7. Partial refunds and restocking
If promotional bundles are returned incomplete, we may adjust the refund to reflect the retained items at their standard unit prices. We do not charge restocking fees for consumer guarantee claims. A modest restocking fee may apply to certain wholesale or custom orders if disclosed at purchase; retail customers buying standard listings are not charged restocking for eligible change-of-mind returns.
8. Shipping costs on returns
For change-of-mind returns that qualify, you bear the cost of return shipping unless we offered a promotional free-return window. For defective or incorrect items, we cover reasonable return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
9. Exchanges
We do not guarantee exchanges for different products; where stock allows, we may accommodate by issuing a refund and inviting you to place a new order to minimise accounting errors.
10. International customers using freight forwarders
If you use a forwarder, our delivery obligation ends when the carrier hands the parcel to the forwarder at the New Zealand dispatch point. Returns from overseas locations must comply with applicable import rules, and additional costs may apply.
11. Statutory cooling-off and distance sales
New Zealand law does not impose the same EU-style cooling-off rules on all distance contracts, but consumer guarantees still apply. If you reside in a jurisdiction that grants mandatory withdrawal rights for distance contracts, tell us promptly so we can assess applicability alongside this Policy.
12. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve issues quickly. Unjustified chargebacks may lead to account restrictions where accounts exist.
13. Record keeping
We retain return correspondence and outcomes as described in our Privacy Policy to support accounting, dispute resolution, and quality monitoring.
14. Updates
We may amend this Policy to reflect operational or legal changes. The latest version is always published here with an updated date.
15. Gift and third-party recipients
If you purchased for another recipient, refunds generally return to the original payment method. The recipient may coordinate with you for consumer guarantee claims; proof of purchase may be required.
16. Product recalls
If a regulator or manufacturer initiates a recall, we will publish instructions on this site and contact affected customers using details on file. Follow recall directions even if this Policy would otherwise limit returns.
17. Subscription or auto-ship programmes
If recurring shipments are offered in future, cancellation and refund rules will be disclosed at enrolment and will complement this Policy. Until such programmes launch, all sales are one-off unless expressly stated at checkout.
18. Environmental disposal
Glass bottles and caps may be recyclable locally. Follow council guidance for supplement containers; do not reuse packaging for food storage unless labels confirm suitability.
